It is snowing today. It is not sticking, but big white flakes are definitely falling and have been off and on pretty much all day. It is hard to believe we have had snow now two Decembers in a row. I am sorry to say I did not let my boys go play in it. Just like last year, Logan is sick and Andrew is getting over sickness as well. So we enjoyed the flakes from the window and front porch. Andrew was not too happy about not getting to go outside. :(

Thanksgiving
We celebrated Thanksgiving this year with Billy's family. We all gathered at Tricia and Sean's house. The kids had fun decorating their tree and playing football and chase outside. Above are all the grandchildren and their finished product.
Papa giving Andrew his first taste of turkey. Andrew is slowly advancing to more solids. Come on teeth!
Not so sure about it. "It's so big and I only have one tooth :)"
He handled the smaller bites better.
Andrew playing with NaNa. See the donut in Andrew's hand. Andrew has started lately liking to have a toy in his hand even while being rocked to sleep. Too cute and funny!

Andrew 11 months old
I cannot believe in a month my little boy will be 1 year old. I would like to share with you some facts about Andrew.
1. He has the cutest grin ever.
1. He has the cutest grin ever.
2. At 10 1/2 months he started taking steps and is now walking. I just love to see this little waddle coming across the room.
3. The tongue out can always help with balancing. Andrew has a radar that goes off when the bathroom door opens. No matter where he is, Andrew always seems to be in the bathroom the moment the door is opened.
5. Andrew loves the plants especially the dirt. If this a glimpse of our disciplining future we are in trouble. He is constantly at the plants reaching for the dirt but just before he does he always gives a little grin knowing he is not supposed to. I have caught him with a mouthful of dirt more than once. (BTW slapping his hand does not work he is not bothered by the pain. I think we might have Logan to thank for that :) )
6. Andrew has a tooth! He still mainly eats baby food. He LOVES crackers. (ritz, saltine, graham loves them all)
9. Andrew has had a cold this last week and has really messed up his sleeping at night. We will have to do some retraining as soon as we are all well.

Preschool Open House
Today was Open House at Logan's preschool. All the kids got up and sang a couple of songs and then we got to visit Logan's classroom and see some of his work. Logan had been out of school the week before due to sickness and missed practicing on stage. He did great for his first time on stage and really not knowing what was going on. Logan just stood there still and looking around. It was cute and made me giggle.

Logan has only good things to say about his teachers. We are so blessed they do such a good job.

Trunk or Treat 2009
Logan was excited this year to say "trick or treat" and get candy. However, he was only interested in eating the chocolate and was not interest in the amount of candy he received.
This was my view of Logan most of the evening. He had so much fun running around and playing with his friends.
Logan loves pretending to be a pirate. He was so excited when the clown made him a sword.
After Trunk or Treat we went home and passed out candy. Our neighborhood is very popular and we have LOTS of kids.(3 bags of candy gone in 30 minutes) I was so proud of Logan. He and I stood in the driveway and passed out candy. Logan had so much fun giving candy away and was so sad when we ran out of candy. He started telling the people coming down the street he was so sorry, but we did not have any more candy. It was nice to see him more excited about giving then receiving. :)
