Fun Outside

My mom, aka Gee Gee, came for a couple of days during her Thanksgiving break. We enjoyed playing baseball.

Andrew had fun in the grass.

Bubbles and Bath Fun

Andrew and Logan have really been enjoying bath time together. They love splashing and putting bubbles on each other. Neither one mind water on their heads so everything is fair game in the bath as long as Mommy does not get wet. :)

Andrew 11 months old

11 months chair picture

I cannot believe in a month my little boy will be 1 year old. I would like to share with you some facts about Andrew.
1. He has the cutest grin ever.

2. At 10 1/2 months he started taking steps and is now walking. I just love to see this little waddle coming across the room.

3. The tongue out can always help with balancing. Andrew has a radar that goes off when the bathroom door opens. No matter where he is, Andrew always seems to be in the bathroom the moment the door is opened.

4. When asked a question Andrew answers with "yeah"

5. Andrew loves the plants especially the dirt. If this a glimpse of our disciplining future we are in trouble. He is constantly at the plants reaching for the dirt but just before he does he always gives a little grin knowing he is not supposed to. I have caught him with a mouthful of dirt more than once. (BTW slapping his hand does not work he is not bothered by the pain. I think we might have Logan to thank for that :) )

6. Andrew has a tooth! He still mainly eats baby food. He LOVES crackers. (ritz, saltine, graham loves them all)

7. Andrew now has his own drawer in the kitchen. He loves to play with the Tupperware.

8. Andrew is very good at getting on and off the riding toys. He has great balance.

9. Andrew has had a cold this last week and has really messed up his sleeping at night. We will have to do some retraining as soon as we are all well.

10. Andrew has started blowing kissing and giving the sweetest hugs. He really only waves night night instead of bye bye now. Each night he waves to Billy and Logan and gives them a hug before going to bed. It is really cute.

11. Andrew is continuing to learn to play. He loves his brother and they enjoy being together.

Preschool Open House

Today was Open House at Logan's preschool. All the kids got up and sang a couple of songs and then we got to visit Logan's classroom and see some of his work. Logan had been out of school the week before due to sickness and missed practicing on stage. He did great for his first time on stage and really not knowing what was going on. Logan just stood there still and looking around. It was cute and made me giggle.

Logan enjoyed showing us his artwork.

Logan loves his new friends at school. Above he is waiting for the program to start.

Logan has only good things to say about his teachers. We are so blessed they do such a good job.

Trunk or Treat 2009

Our Super Family

Logan and his friends at church.

Logan was excited this year to say "trick or treat" and get candy. However, he was only interested in eating the chocolate and was not interest in the amount of candy he received.

This was my view of Logan most of the evening. He had so much fun running around and playing with his friends.

Andrew spent the evening on my hip helping me pass out candy at our trunk.

Andrew did check out Margy's trunk.

Logan loves pretending to be a pirate. He was so excited when the clown made him a sword.

After Trunk or Treat we went home and passed out candy. Our neighborhood is very popular and we have LOTS of kids.(3 bags of candy gone in 30 minutes) I was so proud of Logan. He and I stood in the driveway and passed out candy. Logan had so much fun giving candy away and was so sad when we ran out of candy. He started telling the people coming down the street he was so sorry, but we did not have any more candy. It was nice to see him more excited about giving then receiving. :)
