Beautiful Day

The weather was beautiful today. After a walk around the block or should I say run for Logan and a waddle trying to keep up for me :) we enjoyed playing in the backyard.

Logan loves to play in his house and make me things. He asks me what I want and then he makes it for me. Above he is washing/playing in the sink water. The nurse and germ knowledge in me was a little concerned because the water was left over rain water from last week but I guess a few bacteria in stagnant water can't hurt :)

My cute little waiter :)

Logan talking on the phone. It is so much fun to listen to his pretend conversation and sometimes scary because at times he sounds just like me. I better watch what I say :)

After some swinging in the swing Logan enjoyed playing baseball.

I just love that cute little grin.

After the game we had "real" lunch together outside.

My cute little lunch date!

More Craft Time

Logan making a fish face.

Logan showing off his final product. (sorry it's fussy)

I have been trying to do more crafts with Logan. We have a fish tank and Logan loves his fish. So when I saw the fish tank craft I knew Logan would like it. He had fun decorating his fish and tank and was amazed that we got to use Cherrios to decorate. :)

Pumpkin Decorating

I know this is a little late but I wanted to share our pumpkins Logan and I decorated on Halloween. We used them to help decorate our trunk for Trunk or Treat. Logan had lots of fun coloring with markers.

We were all excited to see Margy and glad she was able to get off work.

My cute little train conductor

Family shot. We did not have hats but joined in the overall fun!
We had a fun time at Trunk or Treat. Logan did not last long wearing his train, but had a blast running around and playing with all the kids. He did go around and get candy from a few trunks, but when asked if he wanted more candy he would just tell the people "no thanks I already have some" :) He did enjoy eating the chocolate though. Man does that boy like chocolate :)

Air Show

We went to the Air Show last weekend with Nana and Papa (Billy's parents). It was a beautiful day for an air show. There was not a cloud in the sky. However that did make it a little warm. The fly overs and tricks were awesome. Logan loved watching the planes in the sky as well as walking around looking at all the planes they had on display. At times the noise made us jump, but it just added to the excitement. Thanks Nana and Papa for a great day.

Logan Singing

Logan has really started to sing lately. He loves to sing. It just melts my heart. I have been rocking him to sleep from time to time and I always sing the same three songs. Last week he amazed me when he just started singing them and knew the words. It is a great feeling to hear your child sing praises to God.

Pumpkin Patch 2008

We enjoyed another year visiting the Pumpkin Patch. Logan loved running around and seeing all the pumpkins. It was a little harder this year to keep up with him. Not sure if it is because I am carry the extra weight of Andrew or just because Logan is faster this year :) Either way we had a good time and enjoyed taking pictures and picking out pumpkins to take home.

Trick or Treat....Maybe

This was Logan's first year to Trick or Treat in our neighborhood. Our neighborhood is very popular and we have LOTS of kids and adults come by. Everyone just sits in their driveways and passes out candy. Logan was a train conductor this year. To say he loves trains is an understatement. He wakes up and goes to bed saying "Play trains with me?" He put his costume on with so much excitement, but after seeing the crowds of costumes and people looking at him he was pretty much done. He enjoyed observing all the people, but could care less about getting candy. This really was not too much of a disappointment. He has plenty more years to rot his teeth :).

We made it a few houses down and then just went back home and enjoyed passing out candy in our driveway.

This was our first year to be at home and pass candy out. Kids start coming at 6pm and it doesn't slow down til 9pm. Even with the large amount of candy we thought we had we only made it for about an hour and then had to go inside. Logan enjoyed passing candy out to some, but he was frightened by the scary costumes (which their seemed to be a lot). So he was happy to go inside :)

All in all it was a good night. We have our Trunk or Treat at church tonight which should be fun and I think Logan will enjoy it more since he will know the people and not be surrounded by strangers. We hope everyone else had a safe and fun Halloween.
