I am also blessed to have such a wonderful husband and father to my boys.

Andrew's Stats

Andrew had his 9 mth check up. He is doing well. We are watching his left eye. His tear duct seems to still be clogged so we might have to see a pediatric opthamologist soon. :( Above is our little boy caught in action. He sucessfully emptied the purell box and wipe container and as you see was very proud of himself. :)

Fire Safety....and Bragging :)

I was so proud of Logan today. Andrew and I went to his school this morning. Today Firefighter Steven came to talk to the kids about Fire Safety. Above is Logan walking out to the parking lot to see the fire truck and listen to Firefighter Steven. He was so cute and well behaved. I was afraid he may act up or not mind his teachers with Mommy and brother there, but he did great. He stayed in line, sat still and listened the whole time. I was so proud. Especially since other kids were crying and wanting their parents, complaining about the bugs and the heat, and crying because they were afraid. Not Logan. He sat there in his jeans sweating and swatted a bug or two, but never made a fuss. I know my difficult times will come, but it was so nice to see him do so well today. :)

My sweet boy sitting so nicely. It melted my heart to see that cute little grin.

Learning about Smoke Detectors. Logan is in the very front in the white shirt listening away.

Firefighter Steven put on all his gear to show the kids not to be afraid. Logan thought he looked silly and laughed. Logan is behind the boy in the blue shirt (Burke-who according to Logan is one of his friends)

Firefighter Steven crawled around to the kids and let them hear how his air tank sounded and taught them to not be afraid. He taught them lots of good things and I was glad I heard and am trying to reinforce them. Above Logan is shaking Firefighter Steven's hand. I was glad he was not afraid.

This is Logan's class (minus a few of the crier) with Firefighter Steven.
There are 12 three year olds in Logan's class.

Chair picture

Andrew is 9 months old. He definitely has become so much more busy this past month. He he crawling everywhere (the all fours crawl), pulling up on everything, exploring the house and loving to play. He is still not on much of a time schedule regarding naps and sleep. He takes one long nap a day and usually wakes up 2+ times a night but the time changes daily. Andrew's little wave and "hi" is so cute and makes me smile. He has started eating some solid foods. He ate noodles with us when we had spaghetti and eats Cheerios with Logan in the morning. It is nice to have him in the high chair eating right along with us. His poor little tummy still seems to have issues at times. I pray he will outgrow this soon. Andrew loves Logan. The day with these two is one part listening to them laugh at each other and the other part getting them off of each other. Fun, but very challenging :)

Andrew's balancing act. He is getting pretty steady and has even stood for just a few seconds. However is is much more confident than his body allows at times :)

Enjoying the tent

Saying "Hi"

Grabbing for the camera with a sweet grin :)

Andrew LOVES food. He gets giddy when he sees the puff container :) He is good at pinching with both hands, but does seem to use his left more than his right.

Andrew was not too sure of the tunnel at first, but did eventually follow Logan and enjoyed crawling through.

Multi-tasking
(yes that is a plastic snake)

Andrew on the move. Just in the last few days before turning nine months Andrew has started to be able to push a walker. He is very wobbly still and definitely needs a spotter, but walking may be nearer in the future than thought ;).

Happenings

Taking a break from playing to take a picture

Logan loves to read. He is a very good storyteller. He normally reads before naps. Above his tiredness did not allow him to finish the book.

The boys enjoyed playing with Gramps on the floor

Logan loves to play with Daddy's phone. He also loves to be on the computer. He navigates his PBS kids sites very well and enjoys learning and playing the games.

Having fun together

Playing in the tent

Andrew has discovered the magnets. He is very good at taking them all off. We need to work on the putting them back part :)

In other news, we are so excited and ready to meet cousin Natalie. Amber is scheduled to delivery next Thursday. Please keep Amber and Natalie in your prayers.

Andrew's Life in the Chair :)

I can't believe my little boy is almost 9 months old. I just wanted to share with you in pictures his growth. I regret that I did not do the chair thing with Logan. It is so neat to see how they change each month. Oh well, Logan has so many printed pictures and albums just of him I think he will be okay:)
