Swimming Fun

We went to the Rec Center yesterday to go swimming. Logan was so excited. He does well in the water. He likes to go underwater, float around, go down the slide, and splash. I just asked him what his favorite thing was he said "getting all wet". We are still working on actually "swimming' and were sad to hear all the swimming lessons were full for April.

"We have to get out of the pool??? What??"
The pool has this silly "adult swim only" for ten minutes every hour. It is really silly because all the kids are just so eager to swim and the only adults there are with their kids so cannot swim anyways. So we got to sit and stare at am empty pool for 10 minutes and have a lesson on obeying the lifeguard...etc.

Logan patiently waiting for the lifeguard to blow the whistle so he could start swimming again. (as you can see in the background the rec pool is neat with all the fountains and slides. The big slide was even fun for me :) )

We went right during Andrew naptime. Here he is enjoying his nap while I watched Logan and Daddy swim

Enjoying the water jets. These used to seem so big compared to Logan. Now Logan is bending over to play with them.

Andrew eventually got moved to the stroller, so Mommy could enjoy the water a little too. Sorry little man maybe next time you can swim too. However he did look pretty comfy taking a nap.

Daddy and Logan enjoying "the river". Logan loved to float along all by himself. He had his floaty on and did not want us to help him.

Logan loved the slide as always!

Andrew woke up just as we were putting on our dry clothes to go home. We all felt refreshed and had a great afternoon at the pool :)

What a neat place. Great pictures. My favorites are the one of Logan from the back waiting to get in the pool and the last one of Andrew yawning. Cute!
